God’s Plan

     + The Devil tempted Jesus in 3 ways at the beginning of His ministry (see Mt 4:1 ff).  Jesus not only fought off the Devil’s 3 temptations; He had 3 goals of His own

     What temptations should you replace with Godly goals? _________

 

     + The Jewish leaders operated under human authority- Rome gave them the right to try false prophets.  Jesus came to fulfill the judgement of all authority- God Himself. 

     What sacrifices are required to focus on God’s goals / targets for our lives?  __________

 

God’s Payment

God’s People

     + Jesus’ three goals were all focused on others.  As He said, “I have not come to be served, but to serve.” (Mt 20:28)
