Gen. George Washington and his request for Christian Chaplains

It was a privilege to share at the Best Practices Conference about my deployed ministry last year. Three of the people attending were Seminarians (from Ft. Wayne and St. Louis) who were interested in learning more.

I had to smile as I looked at these young men- it seems like just yesterday when I was a Chaplain Candidate myself. They say time flies when you are having fun; being a Chaplain isn't always fun, but by God's grace, it is an amazing opportunity to confess Christ and minister to the needs of people at very important junctures in their lives.

Please pray for our Ministry to the Armed Forces, our Chaplains and military (especially those in harm's way at this time) and our new director- Rev. Dr. Craig Muehler (retired Navy).
