Into these lives and situations, many are stepping forward from across the country to help. But how can we best help our neighbor? Certainly we need to help them in their physical need, but what about their emotional or even their Spiritual need?
If we help a man gain back his earthly home but his eternal home is left uncertain, in the big picture, what have we really done?
Prayer is something that everyone is familiar with and that over 90% of Americans do every single day (read Rachel Campos-Duffy's article, "The Corner" and her citation of an ABC News poll).
We are training all Disaster Response Team members who come to New Jersey to help with Storm Sandy recovery in how to use Prayer to serve others, in addition to the other ways they will help those in need.
