"Passionate People"
Just got off a teleconference call with a group of LCMS church planters and mission developers who were gathered by Pr. Scott Rische in El Cajon, CA.
I wish I could have been there with them in person; but unfortunately my schedule just didn't work out this time.
I only had half an hour with these guys and it went way too fast.
It is inspiring to be around people who are passionate about the Gospel of Jesus.
Ministry has changed a lot in the past 50 years; our culture has changed even more.
Starting new worshipping communities requires people who are passionate. The stories behind their passion would be even more interesting to learn; I wish I had had the opportunity to hear them all.
Pr. Rische may be gathering this group again; if this happens, I hope to be there in person.
Please lift up your Pastor, ask God what you can do to help your Pastor keep & grow in his passion for sharing the Gospel.
