House Church Planter candidates Edna McClure and Kennedy Nyangacha
This Advent, I am privileged to help out with Wednesday night worship services at my family's congregation- Redeemer Lutheran Church in Westfield, NJ. This past Wednesday service was special in part because two House Church Planters were in worship together.
Edna McClure is helping to plant Anchor of Hope House Church in the business district of Westfield, NJ. She has continued the work of our first House Church Planter in this effort- Jane Basuino, who worked under the direction of our last Pastor who we miss in his retirement- Pr. Paul Kritsch.
Kennedy Nyangacha speaks Swahili in addition to English; he is from Kenya and this past week just began to plant his first House Church. This house church is focused on East African immigrants and includes a Muslim. This house church is a ministry of our Kenyan congregation in Jersey City, NJ- Tumaini Kristo and is led by Pr. Haron Orutwa.
Please pray for our current and future House Church Planters, their ministry and their communities. We praise God from Whom all blessings flow.
