Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord!
I am delighted to be an author on Jim Buckman's House Church Planter website and to be able to share with you the experiences of sharing God's love in a fallen world. I am currently serving as a Director of Christian Outreach at Saint Paul's Lutheran Church in Closter, NJ.
Closter and it's surrounding communities is a unique and special environment in the United States. It is suburban community with a high Asian primarily Korean population. I have had the great opportunity to witness the Christian Faith to people from various backgrounds Christian and non-Christian.
As Lutheran's we cherish the great message that Saint Paul writes in Ephesians, "For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them." And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. Please continue to lift us at Saint Paul's in your prayers that the Holy Spirit may continue to work through His people to share Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior in this fallen world.
Peace and love in Christ,
