Kennedy Nyangacha is a House Church Planter who immigrated here from Kenya. There are several languages spoken in Kenya; but Swahili is used by almost everyone in Kenya as well as other East African nations.
House Churches are very relational. One of the challenges which must be addressed is speaking the truth in love regarding our understanding of Scripture. It is important in any missionary endeavor to give a clear and winsome witness to the hope which God has placed in our hearts.
People come to House Church with ideas and questions about the Christian faith. Every week, I meet with Kennedy to go over the Small Catechism and review the material he will be covering in House Church. Kennedy also has the opportunity to share with me questions which the members asked him the last time they gathered.
Some people say that it is more winsome to be unclear about what a group believes; this is commonly called "non denominational". But it seems illogical that people would get excited about joining and financially supporting a ministry which at outward glance does not have a clear confession of it's faith.
By God's grace, we are clear and charitable.
