Mission Sunday with partner congregation St Peter LC and Pr. Steve Gewecke (1st VP of the NJ District, LCMS)
Pr. Steve Gewecke and St. Peter Lutheran have been supporters and partners of my missionary work from the beginning of my call. They have supported me during my deployment overseas, with countless care packages, hardbound copies of Luther's Small Catechism, calling cards and untold Prayers.
March 1st, 2015 was another fine Mission Sunday at St Peter Lutheran Church. During the Bible class time, I presented on practical ways to connect the Prayer ministry of a congregation with Mercy ministry of the congregation.
Pr. Gewecke shared a very exciting update- St Peter has been faithfully working through the "9 Box Diagram- from iPray" and is now working in box #5, "Prayer Ministry to the Community". We praise God, from Whom all blessings flow...
